From 27 September to 2 October 2026 the Kassandra Festival of Traditional Dance and Music will take place in Pefkochori, Halkidiki, featuring leading artists from various countries.
During the windy and cloudy autumn days, let our souls warm up with some fire dance, culture and core folk! During the Kassandra folk festival, we are all invited to Pefkochori, to witness international folk in all its forms.
The aim of the event is to strengthen ties between people from different countries and to provide an opportunity to showcase national art and culture against the magnificent backdrop of the Greek coastline.
Although the festival is somewhat competitive, the primary aim is to foster friendly ties and shared enjoyment. The programme includes a fashion show and a parade of the bands through the streets of Pefkochori, in traditional costumes, on 28 September 2026.
The official performance – the gala concert – will take place on 29 September in the centre of Pefkochori at 8 pm.
